We’re Rosa & Olga Ruuskanen — two sisters from Oulu creating visual content and marketing for brands, destinations and tourism experiences. With a mix of local insight, creativity and storytelling, we help businesses connect with both local and international audiences in a natural and engaging way.

Olga has a background in tourism and hospitality and has worked everything from Lapland winter seasons to guiding international travellers in the north — including a season as one of Santa’s elves in Rovaniemi. Rosa has a degree in business and experience in communications and content creation, including work with Visit Oulu’s team. After spending most of her adult life abroad, she eventually found her way back to Finland — something that naturally brings an international perspective into everything we do.

Creativity definitely runs in the family. Content creation is a huge part of our work, and both of us work as photographers. Especially social media content is where we feel most at home: fast, visual and current content made for the platforms where people actually spend their time. From photography and video to drone content, creating visual stories is what we do best.

Hosting media visits and representing destinations has also become a natural part of our work. The idea came from real life: Northern Finland is full of incredible experiences and talented tourism entrepreneurs, but English isn’t always everyone’s strongest tool. We want to be the bridge in between — helping local stories and experiences reach the right words and the right audiences.
